The siblings Vidal and Alicia Vidal run a winery that builds upon a very unique understanding on how to translate sustainable viticulture and traditional winemaking into special wines that separate themselves from the rest. The Vidal family place extreme attention to detail when it comes to grow the grapes as they believe winemaking starts in the vineyard. All their vineyards and the winery is certified 100% ecologic, but the push the limits beyond that. The relay on increasing diversity to combat diseases, nurturing bees in their vineyards, or using falcons to control animal plagues. They work centenary old vineyards in La Seca and get the best out of each plot. They look to recover ancestral varieties and focus in the production of wines with a long tradition in the area, even if some of these wines cannot be cataloged under the official Rueda DO seal.

Rueda is a Spanish denomination of origin for wines located in the Community of Castile and León. It comprises 72 municipalities, of which 53 are in the province of Valladolid, 17 are in the north of the province of Segovia, and 2 are in the north of the province of Ávila. It is one of Spain's leading wine regions, and is known primarily for its white wines based on the Verdejo grape.
