The Wine
Unsi Terrazas White
In the Vineyard: A wine based on Garnacha Blanca (white) from centenary old vineyards surrounded by wild vegetation located in terraces of the Pyrenees mountains in the Montaña Baja zone of the Navarra DO.
In the winery: Fermented in stainless steel and aged on French oak foudres and barrels of different sizes for four months.
In the palate: A wine rich in nuances, without excesses but with everything you like: good intensity, a lot of freshness, oily, broad and powerful. With good memories of scrub that hide behind the white fruit, citrus and aniseed notes.
The Producer

In the low mountains of Navarra, a territory marked by a pronounced orography and little space for cultivation, different Garnacha vineyards that were many years old were abandoned. Among the reasons for their abandonment was the difficulty of accessing them and the low production, something unsustainable for local farmers. In this way, Unsi was born: a wine project that aims to recover old mountain Garnacha vineyards, to produce quality wines with a unique and unrepeatable character.
