The Wine
Antiguas Reservas Cab. Sauv. 2019
In the Vineyard: Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from centenary old vineyards in the Maipo Valley for the elaboration of a historical wine first made in 1927.
In the winery: Manual harvest and careful selection of the best grapes that are fermented under temperature control and a post maceration for 20 days. Aging in Fench oak barriques for 12 months.
In the palate: Intense ruby red color, with an intense nose of red wild fruits mixed with a complex spicy bouquete with notes of vanilla and menthol. This is an elegant wine with round tannins with an aftertaste of ripen black fruit and vanilla

Among all their wines, Antiguas Reservas started production in 1927 for personal consumption by the Cousiño family and has become the flagship of the winery since then, still produced according to the original philosophy.
