The Wine

In the Vineyard: Tinta del Toro grapes (also known as Tempranillo) from old vineyards where traditional and sustainable viticultural practices guarantee the high quality of the grape.
In the winery: Maceration for up to 15 days. Fermentation at 28ºC in stainless steel fermentation tanks. Barrel aged for 8 months in American oak.
In the palate: Traditional in style, this Crianza is all about subtle cherry and ripe plum flavors intertwined perfectly with the flavors from the American oak barrels (vanilla, spice, black pepper and toast). Soft, delicate and elegant yet with a long and lingering finish.

The Producer
Bodegas Fariña
A family winery attached to the land and their roots. Proud of their legacy and having always supported their area, choosing to stay in Rueda when there was still so much left to do. Manolo Fariña, founder of the denomination of origin Toro, and his son, Manuel, run this winery with a traditional spirit. They cultivate over 300 hectares of their own vineyards, where they practice modern, sustainable, and technological winegrowing, with the aim of achieving maximum quality from the local variety, Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo), and focusing the production of each plot towards different wines with their own personality. With his awarded Gran Colegiata wine, Manolo Fariña provided Toro a highly visible status in the international stage that has not lost to this date.
