The Wine

In the Vineyard: Selected grapes from an old vineyard of more than 40 years of age and low production located at high altitude (+900 meters above sea level) on the Golden Mile area, the most recognized location within Ribera del Duero.
In the winery: The wine is made in 1-2 years old barriques of French oak for 15 months to provide complexity to the wine but with a delicate elaboration process intended to preserve the fruit and concentration obtained from the highest quality Tempranillo grapes.
In the palate: It is a very intense cherry red wine with garnet trims. On the nose it is complex with aromas of ripe red fruit, licorice, spices and balsamic notes. The mouthfeel is delicate but long, with very ripe tannins.

Finca Rodma is a family project that overflows passion and attachment to an extraordinary land. Its 14 hectares of vineyard and a high diversity of soil types and altitudes, from 650 to 980 metes high becomes a privileged environment for grapes characterized by needing particular climatic conditions. Finca Rodma limits wine production by giving priority to exclusivity and the artisanal process, translating in the production of elegant products, with character, and with their own personalities.
