In the Vineyard: In 2012, Tabali planted ungrafted massal selections from older vineyards of Vosne-Romanée and Gevrey-Chambertin in Burgundy at an extremely high density on a 30% slope in a 1-hectare vineyard in the Talinay state of the winery, near the Pacific Ocean, in very calcareous soils.
In the winery: This wine is made in the vineyard, which means that the elaboration is based on minimal intervention principles, with gentle fermentation and extreme care in the aging process in French oak barrels for up to 2, 2 1/2 years.
In the palate: The wine has been praised by multiple national and international reviews for its complexity, finesse and concentration of flavors. A wine that if coming from burgundy would cost over $500 it's here available for all wallets.
