The Wine
Talinay Chardonnay 2021
In the Vineyard: Chardonnay grapes from the Talinay vineyard located in the Limarí Valley, very close to the Pacific Ocean. The combination of the sea breeze, the very cool temperature and the calcareous soil composed of limestone allows for ideal conditions for whites that are being recognized as the best in Chile.
In the winery: Viña Tabali Talinay Chardonnay is barrel fermented followed by a 10-month aging in French oak barrels coming from the best coopers in Burgundy.
In the palate: This is a really complex and refined wine, with herbal notes dominating the nose, and a crisp acidity extremely well balanced with the strong intensity of flavors that remain in the mouth with a long and elegant finish.

High lands, almost reaching the sky. Fresh, clean air that comes in from the Pacific Ocean and enters damp, saline coasts. Sun and little rain. Limestone soils. Viña Tabalí chooses slopes facing away from the sun, which are unique and exceptional terroirs for singular wines. Their goal is to become a role model of fine winemaking in Chile.
