The Wine
Txakoli 7 (Seven) 2019
In the Vineyard: A half and half coupage of about 80% Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratia and the rest completed with Riesling grapes that adapt extremely well to the climate of the Basque Country.
In the winery: Made in the deposit 7 of bodegas Itsasmendi, it fermented in stainless steel and stayed in contact with its lees for 7 months to gain structure.
In the palate: This is a fresh Txakoli that departs from the traditional examples as it builds on fruit concentration and aromas and flavors reminiscent of a unique terroir.

Committed to diversification, they elaborate groundbreaking Txakolis, such as Itsasmendi 7, the first Txakoli Crianza of the Denomination of Origin, or Itsasmendi Urezti, the first late-season vintage, made from raisined Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratie grapes that have been left to dry on the vine. Itsasmendi evolve with the times and the times evolve with Itsasmendi.
