The Wine

In the Vineyard: 100% Hondarrabi Zuri grapes from plots with enhanced maturation wihtin the state of bodegas Itsasmendi. Very careful treatment of the grapes from the vineyard to the elaboration process.
In the winery: A white grape elaborated by carbonic maceration with full clusters with grapes with skins. The ancestral elaboration for a white wine that leads to a very unique product that cannot be found anywhere else.
In the palate: Very intense nose with notes of chamomile and herbs and a wide range of flavors that include stone fruit, orange peel, and balsamic notes. It is a very complex wine with noticeable tannins that provide body.

Committed to diversification, they elaborate groundbreaking Txakolis, such as Itsasmendi 7, the first Txakoli Crianza of the Denomination of Origin, or Itsasmendi Urezti, the first late-season vintage, made from raisined Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratie grapes that have been left to dry on the vine. Itsasmendi evolve with the times and the times evolve with Itsasmendi.
