Wines of Altitude
Wines of altitude are wines of distinction
Wines made from grapes grown at altitude are always special. Whether those from vineyards at high altitudes (above 1,000 meters from sea level), characterized by scarce humidity, high sunlight hours, and constant winds, or from lower altitudes but still high in comparison with the surrounding area, they are always fresher, with more tension and pronounced acidity that makes them long-lived.
The climate change is making these previously too-cold areas to thrive now, positioning areas such as Arlanza DO in the Spanish Meseta Central as zones to watch.
We have a very interesting selection of such wines that you don't want to miss. Red, white, rosé, sparkling... all of them display uniqueness!
